About the Artist
I'm a California based artist, and seasoned freelancer. For the past year, I have been working in the film industry as a VFX professional. I've contributed to the stereographic conversion of Avengers Age of Ultron, San Andreas, Guardians of the Galaxy, and X-Men Days of Future Past. I have a Bachelors Degree in Digital Media and am currently seeking full time work as a 3D modeler.
Creating art has been my passion and pastime for as long as I can remember. I do it because I love it. I've always loved it. That kind of dedication is what has driven me to spend the last 30 years honing my freehand drawing skills, and I'll spend the next thirty continuing to push myself to improve.
I've been using computers to create graphics in one form or another since 1989, when my parents got their first home computer. Dr Halo (Which ran on DOS by the way) was the first of many graphics programs I've explored over the decades. I'm currently using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for 2D graphics work.
For 3D, I use Maya. I got my first introduction to Maya back in January of 2000, (when she was only version 2.0 and still being made by Alias|Wavefront) and I've been hooked ever since. Modeling, which is basicaly digital sculpture, is my strongest skillset. I've built props, sets, characters, I'm not picky, I just like making things.
