About the Artist — Charles Fernandez
Creating art has been my passion for as long as I can remember. That dedication has driven me to spend more than 30 years honing my freehand drawing skills — and I’ll spend the next thirty continuing to push myself to improve.
My journey into digital art began in 1989 when my parents brought home our first computer. Dr. Halo — running on DOS — was the first of many graphics programs I explored over the decades. Today, I use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for 2D work, combining traditional artistic foundations with modern digital tools.
For 3D, my primary tool is Maya. I was first introduced to Maya in January of 2000, back when she was version 2.0 and still made by Alias|Wavefront, and I’ve been hooked ever since. Over the years, I’ve expanded my skills into technical art, production pipelines, and real‑time visualization.
This site showcases my professional work, personal projects, and a growing library of digital assets designed for artists, studios, and creators.
